Steven Pajevic is a Sarasota-based founder-operator, CEO, speaker, and business strategist focused on building stronger businesses, healthier teams, and more resilient communities.

He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Crystal Clean Green Cleaning, a family-owned residential cleaning company he and his wife, Kristina, launched with a $100 Walmart gift card and no outside funding. Their hands-on approach has grown the business into one of the region’s most recognized residential cleaning companies, serving Sarasota and Manatee County with a focus on trust, consistency, sustainability, employee wellness, and community impact.

Steven’s career began outside the cleaning industry. Before founding Crystal Clean, he gained experience in insurance, financial services, marketing, operations, agency ownership, and professional insurance education. He has worked with Allstate, Adamo Insurance Group, S&P Insurance School of Florida, and S&P Marketing and Insurance Group. These experiences shaped his leadership approach: build trust, understand the numbers, train people well, manage risk, create clear systems, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Through Crystal Clean, Steven and Kristina established a workplace culture centered on accountability, safer products, employee care, client trust, route density, and practical systems. This focus has earned the company recognition for sustainability, workplace wellness, service quality, and community impact. Steven received multi-year workplace wellness recognition from the American Heart Association and was selected as a featured Employer Story on the American Heart Association’s Well Being Works Better platform. Steven was also selected as a national panelist for the American Heart Association, sharing how small businesses can build healthier workplaces and stronger teams without losing operational focus.

Steven’s work extends beyond Crystal Clean through Home Watch by Crystal Clean, which provides oversight for seasonal homeowners, and Service WorkSource, a workforce platform focused on improving hiring and job access in service and trades industries. He is also active in speaking, consulting, AI for small businesses, workforce development, service business operations, sustainability, and organizational strategy.

Steven is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses alum, a Business Observer 40 Under 40 honoree, a Housecall Pro Elite SuperPro, and a recognized Sarasota business leader. Crystal Clean Green Cleaning has supported food drives, local nonprofits, cleanups, Earth Day events, workplace wellness initiatives, and community projects, benefiting thousands of local families. Steven’s long-term goal is to help 10,000 people by 2030.
